Strike an arc by touching the electrode to the Corten steel surface and quickly retracting it to create the arc. Move the electrode along the joint, maintaining a consistent arc length and travel speed. Deposit the weld metal by melting the electrode and allowing it to flow into the joint, creating a strong and continuous weld bead.
